The truth about Googles Adsense program is that it is amazing. Its the greatest affiliate program ever invented. There is no affiliate program that even comes close. If you are not using Googles Adsense, youre truly missing out on a great opportunity. Ive tried several other affiliate programs, and the only one that is creating revenue even close to Googles, is the Amazon.com affiliate program. Amazon.coms affiliate program pays 5% commission and up for shipped products. Its not really clear how Google pays you, but let me tell you it seems very fair. They do not pay per clicks, leads, or click throughs; they have a secret formula that no one will tell. But trust me it works. I was making pennies off of clicks monthly, until I joined Google. Then the pennies became dollars.

Here are some basic tips for signing up with Googles Adsense program.

Tip # 1
If you search multiple websites in different categories youll find one thing in common. Almost all of them have Google ads and nothing else. This is because most other programs are a waste of time. Dont take my word for it. Try other programs, but dont skip Googles Adsense.

Tip # 2
Googles search spiders are so specific, that the ads that appear on each page correspond exactly to some element of that page. Therefore, having ads from other companies is not a good idea.

TIP # 3
You can place text, image, banner ads and even a search box that will earn your company revenue. Do not place a search box from another company on the same page as Googles search box. They may stop working with you.

It is an often quoted statistic that about
90% of affiliates make no money from affiliate
programs.

Some of these are super affiliates who make
very large sums of money indeed.

What is the reason for the big difference
between those who succeed and those who fail?

The following rules should be followed when
choosing affilite programs:

1) Only promote products/sevices in a niche
that is in demand and profitable.

2) Join programs where you earn at least 20%
commissions on sales.

3) Only promote products that tie in with the
theme of your web site. Unrelated products
make a site look bad and sell poorly.

4) Concentrate on promoting programs that pay
recurring or lifetime commissions. In other
words, make a sale once and get paid
indefinitely for any repeat sales to the
same customer.

This is the big secret of the super affiliates.
They put most of their efforts into promoting
residual/lifetime affiliate programs.
Gradually, like compound interest their profits
mount up.

If you are not in a residual affiliate program
and you get paid only once per sale, you will
never get rich. You are wasting your time
chasing one sale per customer and getting only
one commission. Whereas the big affiliate
earners put their effort into recruiting
customers who will give them lifetime commissions
on all the sales they make at any time in
the future.
